Navigate FriendHRM and understand access-denied messages

Use the workspace navigation that is visible for your role, and treat an access-denied result as an authorization boundary rather than a sign-out or product failure.

Intended audience

  • Admin
  • HR
  • Manager
  • Employee
  • SuperAdmin

Where to find it

Use the product sidebar, global search, and links from the relevant guide.

Before you start

  • Navigation, page guards, tenant entitlements, and backend data scopes can each limit access to a feature or record.

Steps

  1. 1

    Start from your workspace

Use My workspace for personal tasks, Dashboard for tenant operations, Manager workspace for team work, and SuperAdmin for platform administration.

  2. 2

    Read access feedback

If a page displays access denied, keep the current session and use the explained role or workspace path rather than signing in again.

  3. 3

    Request the smallest needed change

Ask the tenant Admin, HR owner, or SuperAdmin to review the role, entitlement, data scope, or assigned task that is preventing access.

Expected result

You use the intended workspace or receive a clear, safe route to request an appropriate access change without bypassing authorization.

These destinations are verified against the current product navigation or route record. They remain subject to sign-in, feature, tenant, role, and data-scope checks.

Common problems

A notification or saved link opens an access-denied page.

Check that you are signed in to the right organization, then ask the owner to verify the role and data assignment behind that specific task.
